Pilates and Barre
Ready to get your body moving in a fun and supportive way?
Tess teaches two different classes, drawing from the safety and effectiveness of mat Pilates while adding elements of dance, ballet and cardio exercises to challenge your body.
Barre: this class uses a ballet barre in the class to challenge and support you, while also bringing out your inner ballerina. Class is based on a warm-up, arms, legs and abs for a complete body workout that combines resistance and cardio training. Basic ballet movements are weaved into the class, while also adding pilates. No dance or ballet experience necessary. Props such as light hand weights, balls, and stretch bands are also added to the class to challenge and add to exercises. This class is for anyone over 16 years and up, from beginner to advanced, and if you have a history of past injuries too, as all exercises can be modified to suit your fitness needs.

Barre/Pilates Fusion: this class combines barre, mat pilates, cardio exercises, and strength training a dynamic and challenging class. Weights and other props such as stretch bands may be added. Set to upbeat, fun music, be prepared to sweat!

Classes are capped at 10 people for Barre and 14 people for Barre/ Pilates Fusion so your body gets the individual attention it needs, therefore bookings are essential.
